    The forecasts were all showing the showers wouldn’t start organising until early weds morning. We are still in yellow warning time zone. If anything I think it’s started early , so , snow warriors , stay calm .... it’s only just starting

    Stay cool everyone. This morning was always forecast as an amuse bouche. This afternoon and early evening our appetiser. Tomorrow we gorge yeah ok I am nervous too. But nervous excitement

    I’m going to try and buy a house in “Locally”. It is always mentioned in the met office warnings and always gets the highest forecast amounts

    Ok so BBC app is mince. Total meh from their weather app metoffice on other hand shows it will start snowing for my location tomorrow morning .... with every hourly increment from there showing snow . Every single one (it goes out to Sunday night). Pure and utter majestic snow madness excited / fixated and according to my wife .... obsessed

    I guess I kind of understand the trepidation. But , as beautifully outlined above by @A Winter's Tale we haven’t had charts like this before. It will get stupid (magnificently stupid) this week and for most , not just some. much rampage warranted IMO

    Some weird ass MOD focus from many just now. Focussed on a low at end of next week despite day after tomorrow due ... well day after tomorrow. Our in bound snowage ferocity seems to be cranking up big style now. It begins

    Beautiful morning. Birds singing , daffs starting to burst through the soil. First signs of a little bit of warmth from the sun. clearly Spring is just round the corner. ............... An awful lot of people in for an imminent surprise next week

    The direction of flow for us does look v good. Varies from SE to NE and with everything in between. And with the uppers forecast , the week starting 26th looks pretty much constant convection For my location that means I can activate the biggest lamppost / radar in the world : when the rail bridge disappears it’s imminent major snowage It’s all starting to look like high entertainment potential.

    Minus 13 last night and nearly a metre of snow on the ground. It’s mega. Ok so am in Norway just now but hey.

    4cm of snaw in South Queensferry. Dogs were initially unimpressed to be dragged out for a walk at 6am

    Hhhmm. Sleetfest for me tonight ; even though I am pretty sure of it I will still open the curtains hopefully at stupid o clock tomorrow am. But then I am off to Norway on Wednesday where a high of minus 9 expected Wednesday; I wonder what the Norwegian is for "marginal"
