Snowing here in Herne Bay,I wondered what is the radar showing for this area?

FRANCIS - SKY WEATHER
Band of heavy snow coming back into the south east corner for 6am onwards !! , then snow all day into the south east pushing away to the south later

Still snowing on and off folkestone no sleet at all have a covering now.

Looking at the radar do you not think that big pivot over the Reading / Woking area will swing that preciptitaion currently in the channel and Northern France along the channel and up into the whole of Kent from the SW within the next 4 - 6 hours ???
If so will the preceipitation decrease or increase and will it be rain / sleet or snow ???
been keepin an eye on that and i think it could everything that has fallen from the sky today has been snow

vigo village...used to have snow days in trosley country park when schools were closed sledging on the downs in the 80's 2 min walk from my house....was the best! probably where my love of snow came from eh!

Front stalls over Kent on this run between 36-42hrs....totals pushing upto 15cms in E.Kent on this run, its quite possible as the models have been hinting at a very slack upper flow and so its quite possible the front will stall before it clears into the Channel...probably still light snowfall even into S.Essex Thursday morning but heavier stuff focused over Kent for nThursday morning.

Nope, has been all snow showers on the south coast :-)
moderate snow here in folkestone now prob just a flurry but 2nd of the avo and not a rain drop in sight

i've got a really good feeling about this one guys! i'm in the far se corner so prob nothing major for me, i need an easterly but i can't see central england etc... not getting a hammering on this one for a start the bbc have put their necks on the line big time and that is a rarety so for them to be ramping
on the breakfast show aswell! .... it's just got to happen ! -
been snowing constantly since i got up (or maybe before) just measured and i've got 14cms on the path so that's just from today cat

some points in my garden where snow was already laying have 14cms the road which is all fresh snow is at roughly 6cms (too cold to go and actualy measure) still snowing here albeit lightly

been snowing here on and off all evening had about another 5cm's that's come down on the last lot tho some of yesterdays hadthawed
