I remember reading these kind of comments in 2007 to 2008 ish. Then look what happened years after. One mild winter and the "winters finished forever" brigade come out. Edit: I'm Aware the climate is warming btw.

All this warm September equals mild winter stuff is really annoying now, it's just a quirk. It's like saying if March is wet, we're going to have a dry summer, nonsense!

Another frost this morning at -0.6c then another lovely blue sky day, reached 8.5c barely a breathe of wind, long may this continue!

Must be one of the frostiest January's so far here since 2010. Had a frost almost every morning, with lots of fog too. Chilly sunny days in single figures, lovely winter weather here. Wish it would continue until March then it can warm up.

Funny that, my low was 0.2c and my high 7.8c. Mine is also on a fance, but not in much of an open space whichmight slightly affect minimum temps potential as the airport is always lower.

This is how winter should be. Frosty foggy mornings followed by crisp winter sunshine.

That's true, this week looks cold and frosty here, with little to no wind. A bit of seasonal weather I'll be happy with even if there's no snow. By April here the sun's too strong for it to feel like winter even if it is only around 13-15 degrees, however last April proves it can occasionally happen.

I remember seeing some snowflakes falling from the sky during January 2017,for that reason that winter beats this one so far from my location. Cannot wait for spring so we can finally leave this boring season!

Well my location right on the south coast is forecast -5c tonight, so somewhere in Scotland should surely get lower than -10c

Temp has gone from 9.6 down to 4.6c in about an hour, very fast drop once the wind switched round to a northerly.

Still 9c here, northerly hasn't kicked in yet.

Lincoln the hotspot, not a surprise as its on average one of the thunderiest places in the UK I think.

Been stuck at the 12c range day and night for the last 3 days, hasn't budged one bit, just like the cloud!

Yes cold zonality here is almost the same as normal zonality. Except with cold zonality we have to watch everyone further north enjoy snow while we all cry ourselves to sleep

Forecast low of 14c tonight, have had some July nights cooler than that.

The only thing that stands out for me in 2021 on the south coast was that it's the first summer in god knows how long that never featured any brown or yellow grass in the spring and summer. Even the recent average summers had long periods with no rain where grass eventually scorched.

Forgettable year for weather here, nothing remotely of interest. A couple of brief light snowfalls in February but didn't lay, still, nice to see. April while sunny was chilly so a bit of a waste really. Summer was fairly bland here this year, very cloudy and no temps above 26c. I hope for a nice warm early spring in February and a nice hot summer with storms next year!
