    Certainly looks like it is organising. However, my guess is that it will be a little low for Edinburgh, if it holds anyway.

    I noticed this too. There seems to be a steady stream coming on land there, but it seems to die off before reaching Edinburgh.

    Excuse my ignorance, can you explain what a trough means in this context. The second one, seems to have a direct line though Edinburgh.. Am I right?

    Looks like some snow in East Lothian is now Edinburgh bound. We can but hope.

    Seeing a flurry at Edinburgh Airport that does not appear on the radar. Odd.

    I think it is in reference to the models which show most of the bad snow shifting south of Edinburgh.

    GFS not looking good for Edinburgh. The large band that was due to hit at 1500 has moved south.

    The longest shower we have had must only be about 15 minutes. I'm sure once they get more prolonged then it'll have a chance of accumulating.

    Same in West Edinburgh, sounds like hail against the roof.

    Hail has now stopped. Snow flurries upon us. Sky has considerably darkened over the past few minutes. No blue sky to be seen anymore.
