One thing that has happened on the 12z suite is a movement towards a much delayed push southwards of the cold air. Indeed GEM never even makes it, and the UKMO is probably only just about good enough as well.

Most runs have been good for the north. Much more mixed for the south.

I think its going to be very galling for us down here if the north gets hammered, whilst we end up again with rain...especially those poor guys in the SE which have had the total sum of 0 so far.

Personally, I'm not as bothered as so to speak, I've had mine already this winter now and 1 event is normally enough to leave me satisfied.  But if I didn't get that event, I'd hate some of those outputs tonight big time.

Had bugger all here in the east and it doesn't look like that will change this time either, tbh think us can write another winter off this way

Based literally on the fact the warning is still up on the Met Office site? In what way has the warning 'disappeared"? Unless you mean the risk associated with the warning is now gone, in which case I agree. I'd be surprised if the warning wasn't cancelled assuming 18z guidance continues to show a reduced risk across the board.

Yeah I meant the risk associated I didn't understand why he was saying the warning was looking dubious

I’m just thinking, look at the current Amber area, then look at the radar returns. Everything is further north.

It's really strange looking at that radar we should be absolutely plastered here but all there is is a few flakes in the wind every half hour or so its bizarre . I could understand a blob being wrong.  But its showing all of Norfolk covered and nothing and its showing as intensifying with yellows but nada

Wow, this mass developing around East Anglia. Now, I think it’ll move south west, but that will put more of north London in the mix. The area will then move south west to my area. Maybe the Amber zone will move. It’s such a fluid situation.

I'm under that green blob in east Anglia now and it's not even got 1 flakes coming down. Think its radar showing things that aren't there
