I hope we get something this year in Port Talbot. I was devastated last year. Being in the snow shadow sucked. Even Pembrokeshire got snow and there were very few times it happened when I was growing up. Dying for some snow!

Looks like nothing for Port Talbot again. Fingers crossed everywhere else isn't too bad as I'm due to drive to Scotland next Thursday!

Port Talbot definitely joined Swansea in this shadow! Very sad this morning. Woke up to look out to pretty much nothing.

I think I have snowpression, keeping everything crossed that magic happens overnight in Port Talbot. I'm originally from Pembrokeshire and missed out on the snow there and lived in Cardiff in 2010 and got to enjoy it a little. I'mnot greedy just all white roads would be nice.

The Met office forecast for Port Talbot still hasn't updated for me since 3am. That's the one I usually go by but don't know how much to believe net weather and BBC.

Don't think I've ever gone from exited optimism to crippling disappointment so fast in such short spaces of time in the last few days. Been quite a roller coaster. Never expected the showers we had today though so I'm still holding out hope.

For those that remember the 82 snow what was the lead up like to that? Do you guys think it will be similar? Really hoping to see something significant. Have been watching the forum and checking Twitter and forecasts like a hawk.

Where do I need to be to get lots of snow? Port Talbot really doesn't look too promising. I've never looked at the weather so much in my life!
