Yep it will sink south , may just clip the English coast

Presume thats the proper cold air and convective activity you can see kicking in off the coast of Aberdeen so maybe still a while yet guys

Aye the beeb went down massively when they binned the contract with the met office, think they use meteo group now, also the graphics have been horrendous for years , loved my days as ceefax kid with snow graphics , brilliant

Temp dropping here at coast now down to 3deg, howay bring it on

Agree look at NY moors, they will get loads more than what that’s showing

Supports the snow here over the borders currently if radar is correct

I drove to beadnell today from Whitley bay, was about 4 deg here and 2.5 there and was turning to sleet just shows how close the colder air has been

If we get sleet at coast again with this then I give up and have to accept that GW is having an effect

Must be underplaying convection as there’s not that many really in that

Nah not this time PD, snow all way out in sea with these uppers so wont be marginal at coast

Think it will reports on twitter from Manchester region saying it rained all day there and when turned to snow was settling within 30 mins !!, crazy weather

Was snowing down here at the coast at Whitley Bay at 3am , put down a covering but was gone when we got up

To be fair the Meto warning did state that for most it would start out as freezing rain and change to snow so here’s hoping. Been disappointing to date down on the east coast
