    A couple of hours of light snow here, settling on roofs/trees and grass but nothing sticking to the ground or cars. Very pretty to sit and watch from window though.

    We had a lovely Rainbow just before it started raining before it became hail in Merstham.

    We was out walking earlier and had about 10 minutes of steady snow in Nutfield and one very excited 5 year old!!

    I know it’s not for some, but I’ve just seen the forthcoming temperatures over the next few days/weekend, this has made me very happy. I’m such a sun person and cold weather just really isn’t for me.

    A rather pleasant start to the month here in Redhill, I’ve been out clearing up the garden & putting some of the larger summer chairs & table away. Moved around some pots that are still beaming with summer flowers, even our little garden frog jumped from nowhere then made a dash for under the shed. All in all a lovely afternoon spent in the garden.

    Yep I’m in Merstham and can confirm all that and more. We had 2/3 very close lighting strikes and all we could for a 45 mins was various sirens. Never seen it so bad here. We had to go out three times and try to unblock the train as water was rising rapidly.

    The rain has just stopped here, our road which is a dead end was flooding very quickly!
