    Well after a good two hours of moderate (with a good 20 mins of heavy settling snow in that) it’s now raining and we have no snow to see on the ground at all

    Ha ha! Yeah but it was rain, with just a few giant snow flakes mixed in! Didn’t look like normal sleet! anyway, it’s turned into big snowflakes now. And getting heavier.

    Still had none here in Matlock, despite the Met Office being convinced we are in the middle of 5 hours of heavy snow! Ha ha

    It’s definitely been different this year. Usually if there is snow to be had we get it up here. This year we seem to be watching further south get it all! Ha ha. Hardly had any in matlock so far, other than the bit yesterday.

    Still not reached us here in Matlock. Forecasts still saying heavy snow from 1pm onwards here. I can’t see that happening though. Think it’s going to miss us.

    Dry as a bone here. But absolutely freezing! It feels so bitter! The dog did his business quicker than I’ve seen him. Ha ha

    Crazy. Met office forecast has now changed again from light snow here in Matlock at lunchtime, to this... bonkers.

    Just had a big upgrade here on Metoffice. Gone from light snow for just an hour due, to now showing heavy snow for a few hours. Hmm.

    Here in Matlock, we are on the very Northern edge of the warning. Literally two miles up the road is out of the warning. So who knows if it will reach us.
