  1. GFS is now following ECM's very cold outlook Have you noticed when the models start to show a mild period, the colder conditions take over
  2. Joe B has just posted this on twitter.... 17 days through March and the Central England Temp is .2C Below THE JANUARY NORMAL!
  3. ppn is coming your way. Intensity of ppn will also add to the cooling effect. Enjoy your wintry ppn
  4. 2.7c is still cold enough for snow. Even 6c is still cold enough for snow too. It depends on the upper cold feed which can be as cold as 0c for snow to fall. The intensity of the ppn is in play here contributing to the cooling effect. PS......According to the radar, you will have a brief clear period for approx 15-30 mins and then pulses of heavy ppn will batter Oxford with snow. Expect big snowflakes
  5. Very impressive snowfall there. Radar is showing some very heavy ppn coming your way
  6. This CME will strike the magnetosphere on the 16th & 17th March 2013. I update my blog daily with these and many other worldwide events. It's going to get really interesting unfortunately.
  7. This is a long shot, but has happened before............There's ppn forming around the Cheshire Gap and appears to be heading in our direction. This could be nothing, but as I have seen this set up before, it's worth keeping an eye on this.
  8. Very cold night and currently -3c Good to see the sun out Heavy rain from Friday night will cause localised flooding
  9. BBC24 forecast just now hinted the cold might return next week after this weekend's slightly milder period
  10. Hi JP, This side of the higher elevated Croydon has a light dusting of snow on cars Radar seems to be stuck
  11. GFS 0z 18h has light snow written all over it Will the next GFS model run show the same snowy theme...............YES
