rain here. not even sleet, aw well will be able to go running again....
-

gfs progs the precip to be very heavy over this region on sunday, i fear my snow will be vanishing at a rate of knots....528 dam line disappeared north too?? yet the bbc talk of snow, any ideas guys?
-
fresh covering in Barton after that intense shower of about 30 mins ago, more on its way too....
-
freezing hard here, the drive down the a15 was shocking
-
peering out the window nothing overnight at all, perhaps even a slight thaw. hopefully more fun once the really cold air arrives....
-
Paul Hudson just said, a lot more significant snowfall to come tonight, especially for East Yorkshire
bugger all here this evening, lost count the number of reports from a few miles to my ne, and nothing once it crosses the humber? mind you i think its a bit too marginal. might be better to stay away
-
quite marginal here at the moment.
-
7cm snow in barton on humber dn185tw.
just been for a walk erm i mean snow ball fight...
-
light snow here, showers seem to be losing intensity before getting here
-
6z trickling out and upgrades again. shows this band grinding to a halt and intensifying. i know we are down to nowcasting but still looks interesting. also the main event down south has moved a little further north east, including london!!
-
looks to be intensifying from the south west along the front, this lines up with what people in sheffield and doncaster have mentioned and also with o6z gfs which shows moderate / heavy snow over us for most of the day. I am starting to feel much more confident having realised that sarah cruddas is just a dumb bint!
-
snowing heavily in barton and settling nicely according to the wife
-
just listened to radio hull erm humberside, sarah cruddas still talking about sleety mix on the coast and no mention of convective showers coming in on the back of the north easter later?
quite confused, but that isnt difficult!
-
the whole thing looks like it is pivoting round to line up directly over our area and STOP ..... please
-
I must admit im not feeling as confident now. We'll probably get light PPN from this band, and fingers crossed for showers later.I'll be happy with a couple of cm's today on top of what we've curently got.
hmmmmm hopefully will pep up
-
18z appears to be an upgrade for ppn across the region. pinch of salt time to be honest - time to watch the radar - good luck y'all
-
for the models to flip flop around so much between the 6z and 12z no doubt the 18z will show something different again. it is down to radar watching, lamp post watching and a few hail mary's i reckon now. still showing significant potential imo.
-
still snowing here only a few cm but not bad for sea level
-
heavy snow now. white out, best snow of the winter so far for me without doubt
-
dusting already here, main precip not arrived yet. although it is more like icy rain now, no doubt accidents a plenty shortly
-
BINGO - a direct hit.
All surfaces already covered.
phew
-
you boys on the north side of the river have got me worried now, thought this was nailed on for tonight
