Raining in Lincoln now.
-
Here in Lincoln it stopped snowing about an hour and a half ago. We have a covering of snow that's not melting so it could still be here in the morning but really nowhere near as bad as was forecast.
Turning out to be quite a non event isn't it.
-
You joking?
Where abouts in Lincoln are you? Accumilations beginning to be reported around the town centre area.
Nope, deadly serious, i'm about 5 miles from the town centre.

I think this has epic failure written all over it for Lincoln, the temp has risen .3c in the last 10 minutes and is now at 2.5c
Blue sky and sun out now, looks like i was right, epic fail for my location.
-
I am not happy  the hour and half of snow we had earlier
Be happy that you've actually seen snow.
-
Really, not even now?
It's snowing quite heavily in Bracebridge Heath at the moment.
I may have just seen a flake, or it could have been a small piece of litter, hard to tell.
-
It's go so dark here now, absolutely throwing it down. Approaching a covering now... will get pictures up within the hour.
Would be bitterly disappointed if I didn't see 15cm's here by the end of the cold snap.
Still not a flake, nothing, i think you are all making it up.

Snow stopped a while ago in Lincoln. We have blue skies and sun right now.

A lot of sightings these days, are probably United States projects based on reverse enginnered technology. They have had well over 6 decades to figure out the technology behind the craft that are visiting and have been flying their own since the 1960s.
Is it not a tad more plausible that the sighting are just 'Black' project aircraft such as the USA Stealths?
I do think we are being perhaps a tad arrogant to think that so called 'Little Green men' have navigated 1000's of light years dodging asteroid belts, supernova's black holes etc etc only to arrive at Planet earth and promptly crash in a desert somewhere.

In future, while the trend in global temperatures is predicted to remain upwards, we will continue to see inherent variability of this kind.
I remember when so called experts predicted we'd have run out of oil by the late 90's, and how we'd be driving flying cars, living on a diet of pills and have colonised the moon by the year 2010, not always right are they.....

Snowing fairly heavily and settling on most roads in Lincoln, more so at Scampton.

Would it be possible to have sunrise and sunset times on the forecasts?
-
How long did you have to wait for that bird of prey shot?????
About 5 minutes, we saw it hunting in the distance and watched it gradually work its way down the headge row towards us, after a few minutes it hovvered about 30Ft away from us, also saw Buzzards but never did manage to get a picture of them, maybe next time.

You know just coz Druidism outdates christianity there is no need for you to fear new fangled ideas Hempcock me old fruit
Like those electric lightbulbs you mean? They won't catch on you know, mark my words.
-
Only for fat short-arses who don't want to walk more than 50 yards!
Of course i don't walk around town, the fear of bumping into you makes sure of that.
-
People should take the time to visit. It's so much nicer in real life
pah, knock it down and build a carpark, parking up that end of town is terrible.
-
What is it then?
Just Gray-Wolf posting by himself?
Seriously, if this is all this thread is then he might as well just have it as a personal blog and lock the thread.
Good idea PP
*Oh god, i've agreed with PP, i think i may be sick*
