-

The moderating team have very kindly agreed to pick a selection of pictures to go through to the voting stage once the final entry date has passed
-
Do they have to be taken while the competition is running, or can I use ones from last year... or the year before etc.?
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Ideally taken for the comp but as some people will find it difficult to travel to locations to get pics etc I don't think it really matters, the main thing is the person submitting the picture has taken it
-
Am I allowed to post pictures taken out of my home town?
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Well, as it's you...................
The pics can be of anything form anywhere as long as they fit in with the theme.
-
Anybody else want to have a go?
Submit your Autumn pic by close of play on the 6th of november to win a fantastic prize*
The winner of this round will pick the next subject
Rules:
The pictures MUST have been taken by you.
Each person may submit up to 3 images.
*This is a lie, there is no prize*
-
Autumn . Well at least I have got the chance of being in the top 3
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Ok, autumn it is
Closing date 6th of november? that would give us just over 3 weeks to submit our fantastic pictures.
Hopefully the voting won't take long
-
Ok, pick a subject Wibs or Lou and lets give it a go, the voting shouldn't be difficult with only 3 of us
-
1 at a time now................
Mods, can you bin this thread.

Theme: Autumn & Winter
Closing date: 30th March 2006
As many entries as you wish, however all photos must be taken by yourself.
Could we do one?
Something like a monthly comp with a new subject each month , 3 weeks to submit and a week to vote? the winner could pick the next subject, water, ice, plants etc?
I would have set one up but I have no idea how to do a poll/voting type thing.

Just a quick update, as I know some of you worry about the state of my shrubbery etc.
My Kalanchoe looks really healthy after its pruning... 3 days on and it's not dead yet! Excellent.
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
How is your bush looking now Lazy P, is it still looking perky?
-
Thanks Hemmypoos... do I need to buy some of those evil trimmers Wibs has found us after all??
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Yes, but only for our personal pleasure.
I just use scissors our house plants, the stems are quite thin and soft.
-
When I do ours I just snip the stem back to about a 1/4 of an inch above the last leaf on the stem.
Like you i'm not exactly great with plants but i've not killed ours.........................yet

At the moment, i'm confused with Rita. Is she stronger, weaker or what?
Next advisory should be clearer..
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
ABC said she's slightly stronger as the eye is getting more sorted.
-
ABC news seem to think it's starting to get a little bit stronger and predicting 145-150 mph winds again.
-
It's pitch black, the emergency services are run off their feet and they don't need some complete pillock wasting their time.
Fortunately they now have him cuffed so hopefully he won't cause any more problems.

I saw that, there's always one with no brains.

As you can see the competition has changed slightly, with this format members will have more time to get out and take pictures as the seasons progress.
There is another reason for the change that will be revealed shortly..................Mwha ha ha
