Huge flash and loud thunder in Ferndown Dorset

To be fair all the weather apps don't have lightning until 2am

It's coming I'm in Ferndown getting dark and windy

Excitement I feel like a kid at Christmas lol hope for a good storm like the 90s

I wouldn't worry about downgrades met office just put up weather warning for thunderstorms for the south tonight

So the south west is hotter than London yet the storms Friday will go east I've heard why always go east so annoying as a storm lover anyone explain why they do this thanks

BBC app had rain symbols all night now have lightning symbols so has changed from earlier so maybe Dorset will get hit later 10pm onwards is that correct I am new to this

In ferndown Dorset light snow but going white outside

How come this band of snow is coming off the channel their is a dark pink streamer on the radar any chance that could reach Dorset as looks good
