    That's the tree done!

Takes ages tying the cable to branches. I also had to wait until it got dark to map the lights.  🎄 🚦

Beautiful! I wish I were disciplined enough to put up outside Christmas lights 😅

Well after my weather station trauma sorted itself out its back to winter now. Sure alot of folk will be venturing back in with the slightest hint of winter weather (yes I am exhibit A). Funny how this upcoming cold spell almost mirrors last december's one in terms of date!  FWIW i can't see much snow for this region in the next week but it will be good to have some fresh arctic air in!!!

I was thinking exactly the same. I remember around this time having to take my sister's fiancé back up to his barracks around Salisbury. Was glorious white with thick frost and ice and the temperature plummeted to -9 when we were driving across Salisbury plain. IMG_20221208_075032251.thumb.jpg.0e0caa2eaaef6158d1eeb5611d8dd40a.jpg

On Golden sands, somebody taking their digger for a walk!

Well you know what they say... If you don't walk them at least twice a day they can get very destructive. 😅

  4. Heavily heavily raining! I'm enjoying the sound of it as I work on some scores, with my sister's baby Bully snoring next to me. He's finally got his cone off his neck and his stitches are healing nicely.

Hope everyone is having a good day! 🥺

Oooh that's really annoying , everything seems louder at night too.

Well, more heavy rain with flashes and bangs . Lights ard on in the house , apart from the temperature it's like November here . Still it's an exc8ting weather day in my opinion and I can briefly forget that Monday is creeping up on me :-).

I'm right with you, that would drive me mad! 😅

Yes and we are so careful with them when it gets hot, they have cold floor tiles, cooling blanket, ice  cubes in drinking water and fans to cool them down, but one was really not good this morning. She has been resting and is now returning to normal, TG.

That's really good to hear, they really suffer in the heat. So glad to hear that she is on the mend.

Having just doubled the monthly rainfall with what looked better on radar than in delivery with a mere 0.4mm of rainfall. Ah well, better than nowt!

Right, now back to taking care of my Frenchie who has heatstroke😔

Oh my goodness, I hope they recover quickly. My sister had a British bully puppy who is recovering from emergency surgery and the heat definitely isn't helping 🥺

23.8C hee humidity now up to 70% .

Been  a lovely day despite heat and have managed to do stuff as well .

There is a neighbour two doors down cutting a tree down because there's a wasp nest in it . I'm really worried about him as it really dangerous doing that  he could get very badly hurt. I've closed the  windows as I'm concerned about wasps going everywhere.

Rather them than me! Hope everything went ok, you're absolutely right that is an incredibly dangerous thing to do... 😅

A quick wander around the various forecasts

    image.thumb.png.3904e8b447f756108767bbd71d37be80.png

Lots of different ideas there, with Devon and Cornwall looking potentially the place to be for some rainfall.

Beautiful picture!❤️ Hope the sea stays calmer for anyone out on the water, it must be horrendous to drown at sea. 😔
