where? i have not detected any lightning on the radar yet

judging from what im seeing the trough is simply too high up north for the lowest part of south east to get any action, there is still a very slim chance but its still there for a isolated storm here but tonight there is also some chance too, i think at around 11 o clock thats when i will declare if anything is going to happen or not

Could create a line of development down the south east

No harm done! and if you look to Ipswich a cell has leaped into action, could be the start , something to watch out for in my opinion

Maybe put some thought process and understanding and appreciation that not everyone here are professional mets... most people radar watch so of course if nothing happens on the radar the closer and closer the trough gets to them, the more likely in there opinion they would see it as a bust which you should understand from there POV , you can't get sick of a community for expressing there opinions, that's why this forum is so iconic, everyone is open and one big understanding and friendly family, now enjoy the storms ^-^

Sounds interesting I mean watching the radar now all the cells seem to be decaying slowly and I'm in Ramsgate, is that close enough to the ideal locations?

Do we declaretoday as a no show for thunderstorms? All development has seemed to just stop as the trough got closer , maybe the trough is cutting all the development off

It's one huge line of fluffy clouds darkening behind them

I have a giant cumulusnimbus forming in the distance, it's very very tall peaking over the cloud tops of the thinner cloud

Look at this beauty , the distance it's visible should show the real scale of it ignoring my phone quality

I don't know if the camera can pick this up but there are big fluffy clouds in the distance
