  1. Wet, windy and 3c here Met have removed the warnings for here from tomorrow onwards.
  2. Just had a brief snaw shower rattle through, radar interesting, snaw from the west, and shower flowing up the Forth.
  3. The term 'Coastal' has no sharp definition. It varies with the field it serves. For tourism, the city is considered coastal if the coast is a walking distance far from the city center, i.e. about 2-3 km maximum. For agriculture, the region is considered coastal if the coast directly impacts the region's weather, i.e. less than 7-10 km from the coast line. For environmental studies, the region is considered coastal if it is beside the coast (<200 m) and its altitude is less than 10 m above sea level. For Urbanization studies, a region is coastal if it is located within 100 km of a shoreline and 100 m of sea level. Sorry but being a Saffer I don't do miles, inches etc lol
  4. Not weather related, but anyone along the Fife coast around Kinghorn, or opposite in Granton, Humpback whales blowing this morning. -1c, and a cold crisp morning here. Seems to have been a dandruff sprinkling of snaw last night
  5. We have a 2.5m*2.5m shed, projector with Now TV stick. As long as you keep it heated, winter not an issue. Just waiting on a good dump of snaw now to get out and make snaw angels in the buff.
  6. There seems to be a line of showers, they die on approach then pep up along the Forth, 2 direct hits this morning. I think LSS said the flow could keep going till this evening
  7. Another incoming shower according to radar. Very cold this morning, which makes my job of refitting my repaired hot tub pump all the more fun.
  8. Aye, seems a few showers made it through, slight covering here, makes it look a little nicer.
  9. Can confirm lying snaw here, about 2mm but better than pishy rain
  10. 2c and rain here again. Snow line on the hills seems to have lowered to about 300m
  11. Elevation not helping here either, most of the snaw on the Ochils being washed away
  12. Ditto, if you look on the map for the m80 sign, it is the strip not covered by the yellow.
  13. Right on the edge of the ppn, and horrible cold rain, any hint of snaw from earlier washed away. Temp up at 2c.
  14. Just passed Cumbernauld airport and trying hard to snaw. Elevation key I think as rain at home. Edit: Actually snaw now
  15. Layer of sleety mush here, and the next band on its way to make more sleety mess here.
  16. If you have rain, then no chance of anything remotely white here.
  17. Thanks, seems to be working again, but got no data between 18:10 and 18:40 Looks like sleety pish for here later if lucky.
