Just had a text from back home on Essex/Herts border
Apparantly theyve been having snow flurries this morning with some fairly large flakes
Very suprising just how much the cold has stuck around in the SE
We still got lying snow from Monday here in North East Hertfordshire! Cannot remember the last time that snow has lasted so long.
At -3c its the coldest day I can remember.

Odds are starting to fall, currently I can only see 7.2 (6/1) to back.
Off course this could change quickly again if the charts tomorrow are not so promising! I got matched at 14/1, but that was a couple of days ago when the colder trend was first beginning to appear.

just stuck £10 with betfair at 10-1, pretty amazing considering we are now in predictable range
also - giving free £10 bet - so nothing to loose""
small chance - if its greater than15% its odds on at 10-1
£100 not bad - all we need now is snow in the capital - I'm confident
I've noticed that Betfair state it has to be one falling snow flake on Buckingham Palace and officially recorded by the Met Office.

I got burned for a long un with Norwich at 9/1 a couple of yrs ago so keeping my feet on the ground this year, I know the big guns are quick with their price changes but they arnt as quick with the impending ensembles so good luck fellas
Yep, found my betting edge thanks to quick access to the charts.
However still only a smallish chance of a London White Christmas, but the best chance for many years.
Only needs one recorded snowflake on the London Weather centre.

I took 10.5/1 on BF
Seeing as it is an untrue price, might lay off if the price moves in, can't see it going much higher as we move towards the day though so it isn't money lost YET!
I was being matched at 14/1 two days ago, but been laying the no White Christmas bet as well.
I cannot believe people are still putting up such high odds!

Now snowing in Buntingford East Hertfordshire (near to Stansted), although not settling as too wet from earlier.

Lovely sight this morning in East Hertfordshire, 3 to 4 inches and still snowing moderately.
-
Precipitation seems more heavier for Eastern areas on the 18z run?

18z ensembles are now out.
A lot of PPN about, but will it be cold enough for snow? B)

Currently moderate/heavy snow in Harlow, West Essex which has left a good covering. The showers have been getting heavier throughout this afternoon.
Approximately 0.5cm of laying snow.

I know what you mean, it can get more heated in there than some football forums!
My concern is that two of the last three GFS runs have been milder, especially down here in the South.
