  1. Pouring it down on the coastal side of the Yorkshire Wolds this evening, quite still outside but really heavy rain making for a soggy evening.
  2. On/off drizzly carp a bit further down the coast today FLT, a couple of short lived showers aswell this aft, just grey miserable, damp rubbish mostly.
  3. On off drizzle/light rain most of the morning until about 2pm, then it battered it down for about an hour n half before the rain cleared! Standard Autumn weather....
  4. Pretty much same here @mike57, luckily a pal of mine took some Ash trees down on his farm for a new horse arena 2 years back, told me to gather up whatever he left behind, will see me this winter at least
  5. Similar here Markyo, blue skies and sunny, 12°c, perfect for pottering outside getting bits of DIY done.
  6. Gorgeous day on the Yorkshire Wolds, sunshine and bright blue skies, 12°c with a slight breeze, great day for getting a few jobs done outside.
  7. Todays task, old tree at local barn conversion decided to lose a limb yesterday, brash bagged and dropped on local farmers burning pile, anything substantial stacked on my drive for logs

  9. Got usual text/E-mail from Northern Power 'to be prepared' just incase we have power cuts....

  12. Wind really picked up in last 20 mins, big trees at the end of lane taking a right battering, really howling now,
  13. Couple of tricky bits on my drive home over the Wolds tonight but mostly small branches and small localised flooded stretches of road in the usual spots, compared to other parts of the UK we have so far got off relatively lightly,
  14. The North sea will look spectacular from Brid harbour today, hope you can posts some pics later
  15. Rain has arrived in the last hour and the wind has gone up a notch, nothing overly concerning at the mo, see what the morning brings

  19. Agreed at the mo its not bothering me too much, its that long drag through January especially after the fun of the festivities that is a chore....
