Just been round to my brothers to move a wardrobe, rain has stopped but the wind is doing a bit of damage to few of the big old trees in Village,

Still rain here on 'lower' part of the Wolds and still very windy, plenty of branches to gather up tomorrow for

Just been out for some logs to the shed and seen the big old tree at end of my lane has lost its main limbs, farmer out there now with loader gathering it up!

No snow to report but the wind causing some issues, seen two trees on top of parked cars locally 1 in filey & 1 in scarborough!

You can tell the 'storm' is in the North, if it would of been in the South/ South East, the Netweather servers would be in a data melt down, it was ever thus!

It would seem we are going to miss the main event, being slightly lower down the coast,

Just having a nice rain/hail and sleet mix, with a bit of gusty wind, nowt special tbh,

Are we getting away with things lightly tonight in East yorkshire, Or is there more to come? Currently 3.5c, light rain and very still!

Snow/sleet now stopped, no breeze or wind at all, a very still damp chilly evening, not a lot happening tbh

Down to 1c now, Snow turning to sleet, left a brief covering on cars and grass! Good to see some Snaw!

Thats like we used to get on the Wolds when i was a kid!

Still snowing here, sticking on the grass n roofs, although roads still wet, seems to be melting as quick as it lands!

I am only at 66m, (nice round Sandsend) on the lower part of the wolds, will be interesting higher up on the Moors tonight!

We've got snow on the Yorkshire Wolds , quite heavy although wet at the mo, still good to see
