  1. The low looks to be sliding more south than east at the moment, but we shall see later on tonight - happy if I'm wrong, proven correct if I am.

Stop looking for doom and gloom.

Report back when 7 feet snow drifts are heading this way.  :D

  2. Its funny looking at that because it means nothing as the track is uncertain read the met warnings also heavy snow here now

Current snow from Brum is heading south east, so those charts PW posted are well out of date.

  3. New yellow warnings issued for snow and ice for all of the midlands for tonight and tomorrow lol dont you just love the weather

Showers from the west continue to break up before reaching here, a biting wind continues with wind generally from SW

There should be a Weather Warning here for Bright Sunshine.  :D  That's all I have.

  4. Whilst no snow....just felt a small earthquake here with some rumbling! Thought it was thunder at first... :(

It's been recorded as Oakham, being the epicentre.

  5. Well, I've got a double snowflake for 11pm on the MetO forecast, and yet there's not a thing falling from the sky.

    Super Computer? Pah!

That must be the same one I had at 11pm, but was replaced by sleet symbol and nothing fell out the sky.

They just move it around during the night when they get bored.  :D

  6. Is there some sort of dreaded mild sector as any showers

were all supposed to be of snow?

Dew points have risen, as the wind is more WSW, so I guess the showers are picking up the warmer air from the Bristol Channel and Irish Sea.
