So frustrating isn’t it? So much heat and mugginess and so little reward. I need to learn to drive so I can go chasing.

there is no way that french cell is heading to us, its moving west at such fast speeds, the one in holland though is heading here
Even if it did head in England’s direction the DEC(Ducking English Channel) will kill it

If there is anywhere one could reach on a train, from East Sussex, with something like a Travelodge, that looks like a good possibility of a storm either direct or near enough to watch/listen.. where would it be? I have two excited young storm enthusiasts who are dying to see something, but without a car I’m a bit stuffed.

Hope it edges closer so we can hear some elevated thunder
Just heard one, and saw an actual ‘line of lightning and not just surrounding flash... wow so technical! Lol

Watching the lightning from the back garden in Hailsham. Will be bu**ered if I'm going out again today after the fun and games at the Co-Op. Got so angry my left eye actually drifted out of alignment before snapping back in place...that's a new one.
Anyway back on topic...hoping we catch something decent tomorrow, even rain alone will be welcomed at this stage. It’s easy for me I’m only 2 mins walk from the prom.
