Is that the UKMO? Are any other models going in this direction?
Thought the icon was similar but not sure the accuracy or if any models are showing this. Not much has been mentioned yet so will have to wait and see. Hopefully someone with more knowledge than me can put in their input.

Interestingly, the Met office predictive weather map shows it coming much further north than I’ve seen it show so far. Imagine we may end up seeing some warnings if they can get some consistency from the models of its track!
How much further north is it showing and could we be in with a chance in our neck of the woods

Same, watching cars have near misses in the street outside. Don't think people realise it's basically black ice out there.
Reckon your right, they should be indoors watching the radar like we are lol

Steering too easterly for us I think. Further showers expected later this evening but doubt they'll be as active as that stuff heading into the SE!
Yep think you could be right unfortunately

It's going bonkers down there pity I'm too far west unless it changes direction wishful thinking

Well I'm pleased I witnessed some lightning and one hell of a bolt a bit earlier but slightly disappointed it wasnt a better show for my locale. It looked promising earlier. However I'm grateful as others sadly haven't any joy. Good luck to those that do

Quite like yesterday I think we will likely see a few surprises! I'm gonna be heading out myself today, maybe around the Yeovil area?
Let's hope it happens eh!! I'm not far from there

Indeed. Truth be told, I find their warnings have a higher success rate when they're late to the party (i.e. when they issue theirs after Convective Weather, Netweather etc).
It's when they issue a broad warning days before the effective date of the warning that things get much more sketchy I've found!
True!!! well the major players seem to be on the same page roughly,so surely someone should get something. Keep us updated if your chasing

Definitely benefitting from markedly above-average SSTs too. Might be a thundery week starting tonight.
Defo potential ingredients seem to be there or thereabouts, but will it produce the goods or a mess. Radar watching and updates from fellow stormlovers is the key.

Is anything likely to develop later on or tonight or is it just the south east with the potential?

Least you got some we didnt get so much as a flake. Think it's more to do with the population and infrastructure plus people have been complaining about the gritters etc.
