Yeah the system from the SW looks well and truly out, wouldn't have delivered here but Leeds looked good for a time, still hope that that slider from the NW will edge further south but those systems so often turn out to be weaker features that only affect the NW of the UK. As usual Scotland is the place to be next week. With nothing likely coming in from the east could well be a bust in my location, at best a dusting or slight cover and with cloud and wind even a frost may be a push here, needed winds more in the east to make it anywhere near a 2010.

Does look rather bleak along the east coast doesn’t it around the Humber, looks like those further north along the coast may see some showers coming in but absolutely nothing for Lincolnshire area a total bust.

Only going by what i’v just seen now on the bbc which I know isn’t great, not feeling too hopeful in seeing any type of showers next week at all.

Things would have to drastically change for anyone to see something in our area it seems currently.

  2. Trying not to get too excited with the prospect of some real wintry weather but just starting to believe we could be in for something good now, always follow the Mad thread as do enjoy reading through all the posts but find it mostly builds up high hopes and leads to huge disappointment!

Even the BBC are now starting to ramp up the prospect of real wintry weather next week too, happy days!

  3. @Kasim Awan @Scott Ingham Hi I’m new here and only posted once as only joined recently, I have followed the forum for many years generally keeping tabs on the modules thread mainly in the winter with the desperation to get a heads up with cold & snow that may be heading our way , I feel the need to express some appreciation to both your positive inputs in there particularly, it’s fantastic we have you both in our regional thread too with your passionate in-depth posts. That goes to many of you in this regional thread, some very knowledgeable folk in here too many too mention but it certainly doesn’t go unnoticed. There must be many more like me who follow the forum solely to read on the latest without giving any input and enjoy reading through daily.
keep up the good work it’s very much appreciated, let’s hope we can all see some sort of memorable snow at some point this year compared to previous years!!
