  1. For once seem to be right on track for this current band to hit, if it keeps its strength up.
  2. Light snow shower currently passing over - very fine flakes.
  3. Charts looking good for tomorrow and temps looking to stay nice and icy until at least early morn Monday let hope for some decent snow fall.
  4. All seem to be predicting at least some snow for my area.. with ICON being the least favorable. Hoping for the best.
  5. Lets hope for another event like this is the coming weeks.. would definitely be welcomed by me.
  6. Still got some hope looking at the charts for early morning Friday and possibly again at mid day, still the more heavier stuff seems to be more south of us , heading towards west midlands , hoping for a slight change of course.
  7. Looks like it has potential early Friday morning and looks to be a good set-up, but somehow think it will be the midlands and North Wales that will see the most benefit, seems to be the case lately.
  8. Not got much hope for tonight, maybe a slight dusting during the early hours if lucky, Precipitation forecast gone way down hill in past few hours...
  9. Lets hope we get a bit more precipitation in the next coming days, not looking good so far for my area but hopefully things will change, temps are looking good further in the week, especially ground temps from Thurs, but just lacking the stuff falling from the sky, seems to be the way.
  10. Temps not looking good here at moment as they have risen from 2.4C to 2.9C in the past hour. Wrong direction!
  11. That's the streamers moving away from Shaw and Crompton then, its like a curse, no problem with them passing over us when it rains, but soon as snow is involved it likes to move North and South of us.
  12. Yea it definitely looks interesting over the next few weeks, hopefully a repeat of 2018 , although it did take a good month or more to see the major effects of the SSW back then as I believe it was early February that the event occurred and early-mid March when the Beast hit so could be waiting a few more weeks yet before anything major. but you never know, just look at the year we have had, anything is possible.
  13. Keeping fingers crossed then, as although I'm located North East of Manchester, I'm at 213m elevation so hopefully should see some lasting snow fall, but quite often seems to split into a gap around this area.
  14. Hoping for some over North Manchester in the next few hours, looking unlikely but still possible as wind direction seems to have slightly changed to a more southerly direction. But for the most part seems to be heading through Preston, into Liverpool then Chester possibly , then maybe though North wales.
