Currently overcast warm and very humid. 19°C (actually really feels like the Amazon!)
-
I am in NW England and I have to say its very warm and humid here too! its still 17°C after reaching 21°C today and what even more surprising is that a cold front swept over us which should, in essence, bring cooler air! :?
-
20C not at all fresher feeling in anyway still feels warm and humid - im rather confused as I think the BBC have overplayed the word fresher
-
still warm and humid - 20°C still at 21:50 high cloud at the moment!
-
Cloudy and humid and warm a couple of showers showing up on the radar and a rather heavy thunderstorm looking towards Derby area is the closest convective activity here
-
Well when I thought itd never happen up pops a TCu and gives ussome hail and some rain
-
23°C now with cumulus development to my SSW very humid and sticky
-
Nothing myself just some high cirrocumulus clouds - unstable but nothing in the way of Cu
-
Currently 19°C, very hazy and hot today here came from a max of 21°C in Conwy to a max of 26°C here in Wirral so quite a good day. TCu development over the Cheshire plain
-
Cloudy and partly overcast with embedded TCu
-
Still nothing here just FW Cu and the sun is shining abit more but I doubt TSTS today
-
sunny few light showers no solar input so unlikely for any convection TST activity today
-
I think warm and dry followed by thundery showers but not thunderstorms (well not too many)
-
wait til the 20th onwards!
-
told ya Anyway cloudy and showery here 14C
-
Actually tomorrow looks good for the likes of Peter Tattum and anyone else living in Central/western areas of northern Scotland
-
Ok its the 16th but very strange tropical occlusion were having here - the atmospheric temperature is quite high making the air unstable producing massive drops of rain (tropical-like)
-
Well high pressure has ridged over most but is now getting puched out by a 'deeper' low which is providing an occlusion coming from the west.
-
The strangest thing happened here. We got a Nimbus cloud (which is unusual on thier own) A cumulonimbus cloud preceded this. The nimbus cloud is so rare because it takes the form of cumulonimbus and nimbostratus together and this causes a very unusual tropical/polar air mixing! not only that but it gives great instability and heavy rain. If youre wondering why im saying this its because we got one giving heavy rain quite something

warm, dry, hazy sunshine, 19°C (66°F)

Cloudy and wet and a light breeze > 12°C

Brilliant. Weve just had the heaviest rain i have ver seen in my life it was a cloudburst from a jet black sky with thunder also the temperatures rose 2C in the shower. (tropical downpour if you ask me)
