Effectively I'm on the edge of this one and the Central Southern. That means either in with Dover or Penzance It also means I'm probably just on the edge of the possible snow too. Seems to happen quite often here tbf

Falling snow nearly non-existent at the moment, quick jaunt outside shows depths of 7-8 cm. Not bad at all. Wonder how much will remain in the morning?- 521 replies

Continues to snizzle here, white covering on everything about 2 or 3mm deep. No sign of it getting any heavier though. -

This bitterness towards the South is very very dull. On the plus side, 9-inches in my part of Surrey, I have a home-working kit so no need to risk myself or any one else on the road! No moaning here.
-
Just been out to measure, and there's just shy of 4 inches laying, still snowing lightly, and I'm watching the large area of snow that's just cleared Portsmouth, wondering whether it'll hit us. Could be a February-rivalling covering by morning if it does!

Mum lives in Englefield Green and she was woken by it too. She was equally confused. As for here, car is now covered by just under an inch I'd say. Snow has slightly lessened, but still going. -

Proper thick stuff again now. We were definitely seeing signs of a melt setting in, and now we're seeing huge marshmallow size clumps coming down to replace it!!
