this looks like the furthest west these storms over the channel Islands will get, and their current trajectory - I hope it pans out this way as someone from Portsmouth

Big storm about 30 minutes ago with semi-regular lightning and some of the heaviest rain I've ever seen. Very crazy stuff, rather uncomfortable at times!

I'm fairly new to this whole storm thing so I'm not an expert but these clouds near Portsmouth look fairly promising, right? (not sure how good the resolution will be because it was taken on my phone but fingers crossed)
