Thanks for the advice. Appreciate you taking the time to reply. I’ll give the Wd40 a go, check my firmware is up to date and then try the rest option. One of those has got to work!

Hi, First time posting so apologies if this is the wrong place. I have had the Watson W8686 for about 3 months now and has all been working fine. However, today the rain gauge doesn't seem to be reporting properly. I've checked the unit for leaves etc and the tipping unit seems to be tipping ok. When I tip it manually it registers 0.3mm rainfall on my console. However, today it has absolutely hammered down with rain and my console is showing nothing (apart from 0.3mm from when I tipped it myself). What's going on?! Any thoughts or advice would be much appreciated! Chris
