  1. Big difference from the two Mets

    Met Eireann

    Ulster

    Tonight

Further damaging and possibly disruptive winds will persist through Tuesday night for most. Light to moderate variable winds to the northeast of the province as the centre of the storm continues to pass over. There will be frequent squally showers, some of sleet and snow with hail and isolated thunderstorms. Winds will be strongest along in coast of Donegal with gale to storm force west to northwest winds, and the risk of coastal flooding. A cold night with lowest temperatures of 1 to 4 degrees.

    Tomorrow

A cold and windy day tomorrow, Wednesday, with widespread showers, some of sleet and snow and prolonged at times. Highest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees in strong to gale force northwest winds.

    Met office

    This Evening and Tonight:

Rather cloudy with showers or longer spells of rain, heavy at times. Some drier, clearer conditions developing later tonight, especially in west. Strong north or northeast winds, gales at first around the coast. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

    Wednesday:

It will be a drier and brighter day with the showers gradually becoming fewer and lighter. Winds easing too although still quite strong from a north or northwesterly direction. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

  2. Hello again. Hope you're all well.

Rough day tomorrow, focus is obviously on the red alert areas but there could be a surprise in the NW. Western Ulster and North Connacht snow risk tomorrow morning. Blizzard conditions if it comes off, high routes above 200m most likely but a chance of something more widespread lower down.
