Interesting to note the large plume of sand/dust over western and south western Europe today.

• Majority of UK and Ireland under a cold front, so overcast or mostly cloudy today for many.
• Mostly clear, continental airmass to the east of the front with some haze. Some shallow, low clouds over Shetland and the northern North Sea.
• Partly cloudy, maritime, showery airmass to the west of the front with cumulus and showers over the southern half of Ireland and Cornwall.
