The temperature in full sun on my patio in Ryde yesterday was 49C by my accurate mercury thermometer. It was 42C in the shade. Why hasn’t anyone else reported it? Am l recording it wrong? It was 35C today yet the weather folk say it’s a lot cooler…how? l am puzzled? How is the weather temperature recorded by the professionals? Dora
