It's STILL coming down here, is it ever going to stop?
-
Yeah, im sure everywhere isnt too good. We may do a bit better as home is right one one of the main roads to Merry Hill so may get extra priority but still, its going to be difficult for all tomorrow.
Probably, not good here, fingers crossed you see a few flakes!

Just been skyping home to the parents in Quarry Bank. Not much drifting there but home is quite sheltered but they have a good 15cm or so I think. Still snowing there now and the roads are dead however theyve told me the council has done a good job in gritting it. I have to say, im usually impressed by Dudley Council, where home is at least. Much of the time, the road is clear. Only very heavy snow that beats all grit causes problems. They did say it was starting to stick to the road now though.
But here in Cornwall, its BELOW FREEZING, at -1c, DP -2c and precipitation just over the Scilly Isles now. Could we finally see snow here?
I popped to the tesco in audnam about an hour and a half ago with a friend, who said they've only seen one gritter all day, which the girl in tesco also said. The main road was getting covered over even at that point, along with brettell lane, and it's still coming down, think there'll be problems in the morning!

And it's still coming down
-
Slipping away north even more now. Stourbridge just coming out of the snow according to the radar and we're next. Still managing to come down here though!
Thanks Gord, it's still going here at the moment, but judging by the roads it's probably just as well it's stopping!

Lol West Midlands along with Shetland and Orkney are the only places with NO met weather warning tomorrow?!?!?
-
Just been on a dash to tesco express for essentials and have to say I'm now quite worried about people's prospects of getting to work in the morning, mine included, still these tiny flakes coming down quickly and readily covering main roads, if it does get any heavier there are going to be serious problems in the morning!

Latest radar shows the area of light precip over me for ages has suddenly intensified
Someone I know pedmore has just said its bucketing down there
-
Might have to pop in the east mids thread I think, radar looks like they may be getting some quite heavy snow soon?
-
Hhmmmm I don't think we've seen the end of the snow today just yet, not looking at the radar
-
Does the radar look like there is more to comedown you think?
-
Hhmmmm still very light but temp must have dropped as its now starting to cover in places where Tarmac was showing, would really love to know how long this is going to stay around for!
-
Still snowing in Stourbridge, but tiny, tiny flakes again, and not really doing anything for accumulations
-
Yep, much heavier in Stourbridge now, proper flakes, albeit 5p sized ones
-
Some breaks showing on the radar, main band coming up behind, lets hope it continues to pivot
-
You won't fit in here. Disruptive snow is referred to as "a positive outlook" and "long may it continue".
Friday was hell for those of us who have to work for a living and don't get paid for sitting at home and posting about the snow. And that comes from someone who is a snow lover.
I've got to be in the centre of Birmingham first thing tomorrow for work, I'm in Stourbridge, about 10 ish miles but is 2 buses which at the best of times takes an hour and 45 mins, tomorrow could well be a nightmare! But 'long may it continue' !
-
Tiny flakes but coming down quite heavily, long may it continue
-
Pub now, ski jacket, hat, moon boots and a walk :-) its only flaming brilliant!

Well that's lunch out the way, time to take the little one in the garden for his first taste of snow, he was 2 in August, currently he's up the lounge window repeating 'snow' and pointing :-)
-
Well, I thought it was stopping, but met office update shows heavy snow for remainder of afternoon now for here in Stourbridge, wonder if they're right!?!?

Is it still snowing there?
