  1. I’m in Eastbourne, very close to bexhill, hoping we get some storms especially because we now have a moderate risk
  2. Hopefully the model and the weather agree for once and we get storms down here in the southeast
  3. I’m in the far southeast, but I don’t think we will get a thunderstorm, sadly I think the storms will form more on the north coast of france and into belguim
  4. If the models are just slightly off could the Kent clipper hit more west? Or would it form more east/not at all
  5. I live in Eastbourne and it’s definitely as dry as the gobi, w heave very light drizzle right now but it’s not even reaching the ground. I am hoping that storms form on Wednesday and Thursday
  6. Would Eastbourne get into the action or is that still unknown a this time? Some Kent clippers, are visible all the way from here in Eastbourne, but it’s just faint flashes on Tahoe horizon
  7. Yeah, September is hopefully gonna fuel some large storms across England
  8. I thought about it and looked it up and it could be a scud cloud, but do scud clouds rotate?
  9. I took this photo a while back now, I have no clue what it is tho it was rotating upwards and died within minutes
  10. The second biggest storm and the thirds were both in September too
  11. I saw this on the edge of an approaching storm, it was rotating quite fast and did connect with the cloud base after about 20 seconds, altogether it lasted around 4 minutes and move about 2 miles. Temperature was 20c. Two storms were merging slightly behind me
  12. Was there any fires going on near the vicinity? If one puffed up it could cause a smoke ring if not then it could be form the angle you where standing making it look like a disk, but I don’t have a definite answer as Google image search only come up with ring created by fire or planes
  13. I think it will hit more northern Mexico between Tampico and Corpus Christi If it turned into a tropical depression or tropical storm
  14. Found a model suggesting a front to move through Scotland Ireland and northern islands early next week, it’s probably nothing, but I’m going to monitor this and see if it looks more likelycape looks to be strong in Scotland, I don’t think it will be that high
  15. Here in the southeast coast we saw huge wind gusts with my little weather station reporting 86mp gust
  16. I had posted it before I saw the reports and the action picked up, I agree with the warning now that I’ve seen the reports and had 3 storms com close to me
  17. Could be that the winds were fulling in from the back of the storm and a mini vortex spun up just to you south?
  18. This was a historic storm, it forced the met office to issue a red warning for flying debris and wind for the southeast and London
