Coldilocks

The GFS is predicting unsettled weather.

I don't think wind and rain is an upgrade. After the December we've had, I hope the Atlantic onslaught doesn't return.

If we do end up on the warmer side that would be a kick in the teeth.

For once, can we just let winter be cold?

The French can keep it. I'll be welcoming the cold air with open arms.

Lets hope it doesn't come to fruition.

People would expect October temperatures, not July temperatures .

Hoping the second half of October is much cooler. Would prefer the temperatures to be around 14c to 17c with single digits night temperatures for those misty/foggy mornings.

I like cold temperatures in autumn and winter but not in spring.

Most of our winters have been mild and it always leads to the worst types of weather. It's either 13c and cloudy or very wet and windy.

I don't like this whole "this season suffered so the next season should suffer too".

I had to breakout the fan, the humidity is getting to me. Really hope we do away with these temperatures and have something more colder and seasonal.

If people on this forum had to the power to control UK weather, we'd have 30c+ all spring/summer and 20c+ all autumn/winter.

Winter is much better when it's colder, more chance of snow and it feels more seasonal. I just don't understand how people like mild winters, to me there's nothing appealing about them.
