I'm actually a little surprised there is an Amber rain warning with all this now...but I suppose all the decent people at the Met office are asleep

I think what's also quite surprising for UK is how slow this is moving has barely moved at all over the past 3 hrs while the rain is being pushed north..lots of dark echos now east of it.
