Down here, in Poole, near Poole College, it has been raining steadily since daybreak. Although warm, circa 5C, feels colder because of the high humidity. No sign of any ice now. Do we declare any interest in Weather here? I was a Plotter/Observer at the Forecast Office at the Met Office Bracknell 1962/4, as a 16/7 year old, but left as was pining for Dorset.
