Cant believe we had a Snow Shower and I missed it

Met Office saying rain sleet showers tomorrow, where do we get this cold from to get the snow if its not now? whats got to change? everything is in place? and it still rains?

BBC News 24 weather didn't really say anything just very vague, graphics was showing rain showers going down the Eastern coasts at that was it

Get the car out and find them if they are only four miles away

Anybody any clues why the upper air is melting it? if its only about 2c ground level? quite often we have warmer temps and it still snows?
