  1. Yes, occurring in an otherwise very delayed, cold and wet Spring on the back of a severe Winter. There was a mini heatwave that occurred exactly a month later also.
  2. All of those Marches I have some memory of and to me March then I perceived as more of an extention of winter. I remember the cold, dull March of 1984, snow flurries in 1985, the end of the month long freeze up in early March 1986 and the heavy wet snowfall of March 6/7th 1987. That one particularly sticks out as it was a Saturday, the day after the Herald Of Free Enterprise ferry disaster that was all over the news that day. I can remember all of these despite being between the ages of 6 and 9 at the time.
  3. There have been quite a few, especially since the turn of the millennium, but these are the ones that really grated on me from memory. January 2020 Relentlessly wet, stormy and mild. February 1997 After a promising start to winter, this was a disaster of a month. March 2017 A bit of a boring cloud fest from an IMBY perspective apart from the last couple of days. April 2019- only chose this one because nothing sticks out in my memory. May 2022 Too southwesterly, very cloudy, no real extremes of temperature just some overly warm nights. June 2016 Too warm, humid and wet. July 2006 hottest month ever, a complete nightmare! August 2021 A very boring nondescript month around here. September 2021 As above, but also too warm. October 2006 Just too warm and wet, there's been so many very warm Octobers but this one sticks out as being very unseasonal with no extreme high maximum temps. Two thunderstorms was the only interesting or favourable things about it. November 1994. Ridiculously warm! December 2015. Ditto, as above.
