  1. It went down to 0.7C last night here.The plant trays all went into the shed and conservatory They are getting a bit leggy they need to go into the ground.These cold nights keep turning up.It needs to stop raining a bit too.The ground needs to dry out and warm up. 0 C forcast for tonight. Will it be the last one ? I wouldn't bet on it.
  2. I have not been getting much from Meteor2-3 recently.I got a good scan from the 11.29 pass this morning.
  3. A light frost again this morning Temp got down to 1.5C.Mrs Ponti was prepaired for it .Plants were under cover early. A Meteor 2.3 scan from 10.45 pass.

  6. A light frost this morning.Mrs Ponti is not happy.The low forecast was 4 Deg it went down to 1.4.She normally moves her plants and seedlings from the greenhouse to the shed when the forecast is low.Last night she did not.

  10. My main interest is satellite scanning.Wxsat scanning is one of the projects on the satellite forum that I am a member of.Mrs Ponti and I are also keen weather watchers.My weather station is a Technoline 2816.MY site is on WOW RC Barnsley. Below is the 9.35 pm NOAA 18 scan
  11. Just spotted this post I often scan NOAA 15,18 and 19.The only equipment required is a computer WXSAT and SDr Sharp software and an antenna.I made a Quadrifilla antenna with cunifer brake pipe.NOAA 15 has problems now. Two scans today NOAA 18 and 19. . The red cross is my location.
  12. A bit damp here today.18.6 mm rain already.I have been waiting for some steady rain for awhile to check my rain guage.I think that it is reading a bit low.
  13. torential rain and lightning here now.17 3 mm of rain in the last hour.Still comming down.19.1 now the garden will love it
  14. Today has been a nice day plenty of sunshine.not too hot for a couple of old fogies.The forecast was cloudy bright with showers.We seem to get different weather than what is forecast at the ryhill station six miles away
