I was at the Cheshire Steam Fair in Daresbury as an exhibitor. At about 4 o'clock we packed up as the wind really picked up and the sky went black. We were all packed up and leaving by 10 past and heading off the field when the heavens opened and the thunder, lightning and hail started. Back in Lymm by 4.30 and it was hot and humid here, and dry. Hardly had any rain since but boy was south west Warrington getting it earlier!
