@ANYWEATHER ok thank you, I will keep an eye on the charts then. Just out of interest what charts/models do Netweather use? Netweather now predicting sunny intervals in Kirkby Mallory on Saturday and Met office predicting rain!

Hey folks, Looking for some help from some weather experts please! I'm a motorbiker and have a track day coming up next Saturday 27th at Mallory Park in Kirkby Mallory (Leics). I've been following the long range forecast from Netweather, Met office, BBC etc. on a daily basis to try and figure out what the weather will do. Equally trying to understand the models and predictions myself (as a fair weather biker I hate rain!). As I understand it we have low pressure coming in from mid-end of the week, is that right? Current forecast seems to suggest showers, netweather is now showing dry!? Although in my experience I find NW to often be wrong sadly, I also read something about a big band of rain coming over but that it may not hit until Saturday late PM, is that right? I'm really hoping it's just showers and not persistant rain for the midlands. Any ideas please? Thank you!

Hi All, Looking for help from all of you weather experts please on the likelyhood of dry weather in the midlands area on Sunday 8th October? I've been reading through all kinds of forecasts/threads on this site, most of which I don't understand. I've got a motorbike track day on that day and I'm keeping everything crossed it stays dry, I understand that early October is forecast to be dry 'ish'? But all forecasts I've seen (I know it's a way off) keep saying 'mid October' will turn unsettled again, but it's bit unclear what they are defining as 'mid'. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks!

Hi All, Long time user of Netweather to view forecasts, along with other weather services though have never posted on the forums. As a motorcyclist, cyclist, running and photographer I'm always checking the weather forecast! (albeit quite disappointing at the moment!). I wondered if those of you who in the know weather wise might be able to give me some indication of what the weather could be like in Nottinghamshire/Leicestershire on Sunday 6th? Specifically in the morning, I am planning to ride to Silverstone for the MotoGP and I ideally want a dry ride, I don't mind light showers but not heavy rain! I also have a motorbike track day planned at Mallory Park on the 9th August and have been praying for no rain or if there is any rain just very light. Any ideas? I know it's hard to predict from one day to the next! Cheers
