Could deffo do with some of the white stuff in north west Shropshire on the border ...been a complete wash out regarding snow this winter so far but looking good now (crosses everything) :-)
still snowing here...been snowing since the early hours albeit lightly ..we've had roughly 3 inches so far on top of 3-4 inches from the other day
certainly been a memorable event so far this winter
I can't say anything at the moment
on topic I'll take some piccies in a mo outside still coming down lightly here ..had an extra 4-5 cms on what was left
same here live right on the welsh border ...(the proper side mind ) ...I hate being drawn under the blanket that id west midlands
Not looking forwards to my drive to Bala in the morning though ...could be hectic
hopefully we can be more in the firing line again for this event ...patience is the key ...our snow hasn't melted at all ....god only knows we waited long enough for it
could be a very interesting journey back into work at Bala wednesday morning
Ellesmere lake is proper frozen over covered in snow....like it was last year
gutted the severn wasn't properly forozen over there....I went to school in coleham there and that was the last time it was frozen over 79 I think ...the river is 18 feet deep there and very slow flowing hence why it freezes
agreed ...when I dropped the kids of this morning I've struggled to park because nearly everyone 'in' town decided to drive to school ..bearing in mind Ellesmere is a small rural town....ridicules really is
i'm only at home because I've been snowed of work by the way
whilst i do agree with most of what you say I live about 3-4 miles out of town from our kids schools ....the b roads into town are deadly plus there are no pavements people in 63 would no doubt of walked into ellesmere from here BUT there wouldn't of been any traffic
has the severn started to freeze at all yet salopwatcher .....I'll never forget the river severn froze over at Greyfriars Bridge in Coleham ..the rivers very deep there and very slow moving ....must have been 79 or 81-2..great sight
