    sorry about this one liner but by looking at the models GP has been entirely correct. It seems like I was worrying over nothing. how fantastic it will be to experience a winter like the 80's!

    as i said earlier we need gp to explain what is going. Im very worried we will see a flat jet and low after low for the whole of Janruary. Is anyone feeling the same or am i over-panicking? I know gp stated we would get a milder interlude before we get severe cold mid-jan onwards in his winter forecast. Is this still true? Also, does anyone have a link to his forecast so i can re-read it?

    question to gp: how come your predicting jan to be cold and snowy or am i reading it wrong? can we have your percentages of likely scenarios? would i be correct in saying we are having our main cold spell of the winteer or are there better things to come? im a bit worried so thanks in advance for replying and keep up the good work? This forum would not be the same without you!

    i thought gp said this janruary will be cold but will it be cold apart from TWS northerly toppler with the polar vortex intensifying?

    im only a wee amateur but does this imply a cold janruary is still on the cards, possibly even colder than this current cold spell?
