I reckon the south coast are the only ones that have reason to stay up (or wake up) to catch something. I’ll keep an eye on it for a little longer.

Typical, but promising

Storms are struggling to take off, and we’ve got a fair bit of cloud coverage atm

Still very heavy on the front of it, just not the right conditions for lightning unfortunately.

Not sure if it’s worth keeping an eye on it as it’s got a while to get to me, but a night storm to kick off the year would be amazing! Hoping to see some cool shots tonight (didn’t mean to make this a reply oops)

Birmingham appear to be getting a great mammatus display right now!

Had one rumble in Tewkesbury, and then nothing else. Rude!

It seems that almost all of the current activity is outside of the expected regions, is there any hope for us further south? Had some nice structures but nothing heavy.
