    Amazingly high temperature down in Bournemouth....just come in for a few minutes to defrost, as it's now -4.1C....great night, everyone should have a telescope!

    Now dropped back to -2.9C....lovely clear moonless night, Ipswich are losing, so I'm off out with my telescope!

    Now crept up to 1.7C here, and still clear blue skies, but over towards the Lake District it seems pretty cloudy though, and with a very light wind from the north-west....who knows, although I can cleary see Blencathra, and there's no snow on it at the minute.

    Well, 50 miles up the road from Lancaster, it's currently -2.4C with a night-time low of -4.9. Not a puff of wind, and cold, hazy blue skies.

    Just had our first precipitation since October 9th.......but it was rain. Still, it's only 5.8C and the sky has the wintery menace that I love.....snow tonight?

    Currently 6.1°, with patchy cloud and a light NW breeze. No snow yet, and my view is of Cross Fell and surroundings, but then there’s been no sign of precipitation since October 9th…and Cumbria’s meant to be wet?!
