  3. previous run mate, current run has none over land, but something in the channel off weymouth, shame i'm not working in weymouth till oct otherwise I would of filmed it
  4. having said that we had a good storm on a thursday 2 weeks ago in weymouth, forked lightning and had to get the cadets off the water sharpish as we had sailing etc on. but the storm brewed up very quickly without warning though
  5. UKV has less tomorrow night than previous runs i've noticed for our neck of the woods i.e south wales and south coast, compared to previous runs
  6. having said that mate, I would wait till sat morning as it will prob change by then, UKV is chopping and changing at mo and the 15z is less than previous runs for sat night
  7. the current synoptic chart (18z) and 12 hrs confirms my theory
  8. they did say in the media about Sahara dust making for stunning sunrises and sunsets
  9. Going off your forecast and other info, I think wales west of swansea will be most at risk
  10. with the widespread risk, I think it will be more northern areas that will cop it, as UKV showing some activity in the south on sat night, but that will change closer to the time
  11. according to the met office inshore forecast, the showers are going to be west of lands end and in the irish sea as I use the inshore forecast frequently in work
  12. cant wait till this heat goes, and cold and fresher air returns, bring on winter
  13. tbh I dont pay much attention to gfs, ECM and UKV tend to be on the ball, and UKMO,
  14. to be honest, I don't know, possibly a mix, I like their videos though
  15. latest met office fax, has the trough on weds night smaller and further west,
  16. i've noticed with the UKV for weds night, its starting to shift westwards as checked the 03z
  17. its too far ahead yet, like you said, I would rather wait till weds at the earliest to see what happens
  18. by the looks of things yes, I knew it would get downgraded closer to time
  19. probably will downgrade, its too far ahead in terms of forecasting storms.
  20. not on the ferries I dont but afloat yes, But I know about the british merchant marine (great great grandfather had a shipping company in bideford)
