A cell went from nothing to dropping a bolt a mile from me in 15 mins! Rain getting heavier but no more thunder heard. Loving this weather right now!

Best storm in ages rattled through Gloucester about an hour back. Loads of thunder and epic rain! Me and my youngest lad are well happy now ?

I don't post in here often albeit I have been a member for the longest time. Please dont apologise for being aspergic ever, my youngest lad is on the spectrum and he loves the weather! Give it 6 years and he'll be here doing exactly the same (you've all been warned ). Enjoy the coming days mate ?

Can see constant flashing to my south from Gloucester

Big spots of rain here in Gloucester, really hoping we get something of note later on!

Looking likely that some will see some great flashy bangy weather tomorrow. Hopefully I'll see something here in Gloucester! Fingers crossed

I have dandruff snow here between Gloucester and Cheltenham. Really hoping the heavier stuff makes it here as the kids are banking on a snow day tomorrow!

T&L in gloucester currently. Mainly sheet lightening but thunder very close. Chucking it down and all. Bonus, wasn't expecting anything today!

Seeing occasional flashes of lightning to my west here in Gloucester and it absolutely smashed it down with rain not long ago. Can't work out why I'm seeing flashes to the west when I thought everything was coming this way from the east but I'll take it lol

So jealous right now, I'm upstairs in my house on the outskirts of Gloucester and can see the flickering lightning from a thunderhead 50 plus miles away! The kids are mesmerized

Randomly snowing here in Gloucester, not expected at all

Long time lurker here and great to see so many reports of decent snowfall in our region! It's been snowing pretty much all day in Gloucester but that really fine stuff but still great for the kids who have been loving their snow day off school. Thinking I may be too far East for a proper dumping but fingers crossed! Enjoy!!

Gonna be some serious flash flooding from these.
They are barely moving and monsoon kind of rainfall
Long time member, first time poster here. I agree with Lynux, this storm is hardly moving. Steady rain getting heavier here in brockworth, Gloucester. Nice to finally get some flashy bangy weather!!

Sat outside between Gloucester and Cheltenham and it's the most oppressive it's been all day. Sky pretty much clouded over and feels very stormy. Keeping everything crossed but not sure what my chances are
