Bath - 13:45 What was a cloudless sunny morning has given way to hazy sunshine. Temp is still up above 25 C but thankfully humidy is lower. Wind is picking up. Hoping the forecast rain holds off until I am on the bus I left my coat in the car!

Bath T-Storm increasing in severity. Just seen the first forks to strike to the SW of the city. Rain has been heavy and consistent for some time (can only just make out the treeline to the south of the city) The gutters of the Theatre Royal starting to overflow quite nicley! Looking forward to this one as there are two tall spires with lightening conductors on buildings next to us. Should liven things up a bit

Bath (Wilts) Temp: 26 C Humidty: high but dropping Heavy rain started about 8:50 am and is now coming down persistently. Skies have turned very dark and there are sporadic flashes of lightening and rumbles of thunder. It's a relief to get some cooler air. This is the first time this week that opening the windows in the office has actually managed to make a difference to the temp!! (Wow! that was a huge flash and bang ... could be in for some fun )
