    Raining big blobs here and just had three loud rumbles of thunder. Radio is crackling well!!

    Just come over dark here - enough to have to put the lights on. Been raining most of the day but this feels different. Edited to say it was only rain!!!!

    Nice flash to the south and now the rain has started. Just a couple of hours until it is dark and hopefully the storms/lightning will still be around by then. Keeping things crossed.

    Ooh I do hope so. Camera is charging as I type, portable AM radio has fresh batteries and everything is crossed. Just got to go shopping and then in for the rest of the day!!

    Just read in The Sun that apparently it is set to reach 29c today and we could see 30c tomorrow. But "violent" thunderstorms will soon bring the spell to an end. You never know. The Sun may be right for once!!!!!!!

    Please could someone send some of this thunder and lightning/storms towards Bury St Edmunds as I am starting to get a bit depressed!!! :( Just heard a distant rumble here and, finally my portable AM radio is making some noise!! Please sir, can I have some more.
